First time here! Food was very delicious! I'm impressed by Alex season! Service was a 100 . Whitney was really attentive tu my wife and I! I love the music they play here!

Taste of Italy? More like show me Italy(show me state joke, haha.) enough joking though, I myself have a huge admiration for Italian food, call me an “ Italophile” if you will. I’ve worked in a few different restaurants, and ate at some as well. But this place hands down, topped it all. They make Alfredo sauce fresh to every order, giving it more of the authentic feeling desired. People have bad experiences sometimes, it’s life it happens. But you also can’t make everyone happy. but my wife and I were absolutely satisfied! I got blackened chicken Alfredo, with shrimp. Something I’ve always loved, my wife got spaghetti and meatballs, and two appetizers being the garlic cheese bread and ravioli. Knocked it out of the park, this is the true meaning of a “hidden gem”. But don’t just take my word for it, take a drive and try it!

Really nice atmosphere. Plenty of space and good looking decor. There was live piano playing during our meal and it really added to the ambiance. The staff were very friendly and made sure that we were comfortable and served at all times. And then the food was fantastic! The stuffed mushrooms were large and very good. And i would highly recommend the Taste of Italy. Plenty of scallops, the shrimp were large and bursting with flavor, and the sauce was superb!

We took our grandkids to Precious Moments and heard Taste of Italy was nearby. It's actually attached to the building in the parking lot. We received great customer service. The food was great, and the facility was clean. The food portions were generous. We all enjoyed our dining experience.

Never knew about this place. Amazing lamb shank and stuffed mushrooms. The servers were really helpful and attentive. Will definitely be coming back soon. Screw Olive Garden or Jonnys in Joplin. This is the place to go for Italian food.

We were in Joplin over the weekend for our anniversary and had supper here Saturday night. I had the chicken Alfredo and my husband had spaghetti and meatballs. On Sunday we went back for lunch and tried the supreme pizza. Tuesday we stopped back in for the Alfredo pizza and lasagna. Everything we had was delicious and the service was amazing. Staff are very attentive and friendly and the chef even came out to make sure everything was to our liking. They bring out bread and marinara sauce when you are first seated. I don’t like red sauce but this sauce is great. Also tried the soup that normally I would not eat but it too was delicious. This is our favorite place to go and well worth the drive we have to make to get there. 5 stars aren’t enough to rate this food. I would give it a 10/10.

My wife, family, and I have been to Taste of Italy many times for dinner or lunch. Chef Aleks (owner/Chef) is very talented and makes everything fresh daily, from bread to pasta to the pizza dough for hand-tossed NY Style pizzas. He makes a wide variety of pasta dishes from Italian classics, to a variety of individually made sauces for various combinations with shrimp, chicken, steaks, lamb shanks — too many to list. Also a nice selection of cheesecakes and cake desserts. On Friday & Saturday nights, there frequently is a local musician playing Vintage Classic tunes on their piano — I nice touch for dinner.

Best Italian food in the area!! The staff is wonderful, and the chef truly cares about the food and your enjoyment. Also be sure to save room for dessert!
